Urgent Requirement for *Logistic In-charge” position with our MNC esteemed client manufacturing automobile components at Pune – Khed MIDC (Rajguru Nagar) location.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Planning, packing implementing, and managing all aspects of the supply chain, including transportation, forwarder nomination and distribution.
2. Manage all aspects of the import process and export process including documentation, shipping schedule, and custom clearance.
3. Handling multiple shipments with different incoterms.
4. Plan transportation and distribution routes.
5. Direct fleets and manage transportation providers.
6. Process shipments and ensure timely deliveries with all tracking record with RFID server.
7. To comply with all statutory and other formalities related to exports goods.
8. Handle container booking and managing its pickup/ stuffing/ gat in/ till ship on board.
9. Handle CHA operation and pre and post shipment documentation.
10. Prepare, review, and manage import documentation such as bills of landing, commercial invoices, packing lists, VGM, EVD Scomet Declaration EPRA and certificates of Origin.
11. Maintain and update shipment registers and daily MIS reports, providing regular updates to higher management.
12. Manage vendor relationships, verify and process bills, and coordinate with the accounts team for timely payments.
13. Create and implement best practice logistics principles, policies and processes across the organisation to improve operational and financial performance
14. Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements
Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs
15. Recommend optimal transport modes, routes or frequency
16. Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery
17. Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports or customer issues
18. Review impact of logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or carriers and report results to others
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree
6 to 8 years experience
Problem-solving skills using Root Cause Analysis
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
