Are you passionate about Electric Vehicles and vehicle-level validation? We are looking for an experienced Application Engineering Lead to drive EV application development, testing, validation, and quality improvements across next-generation EV platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Strong understanding of EV vehicle architecture (2W, 3W & 4W), including PMSM, Inverter, BMS, DC-DC Converter, OBD Charger, and their interfaces.
✅ Testing and qualification of traction motors and Motor Control Units (MCU) at vehicle level.
✅ Data acquisition, diagnostics, and performance analysis.
✅ Hands-on experience with communication protocols such as CAN, CAN FD, LIN, etc.
✅ Perform System FMEA, FTA, DTC validation, and fault injection testing.
✅ Conduct field failure analysis, root cause investigation, and 8D problem solving.
✅ Support software validation activities in vehicle environments and generate application test reports.
✅ Manage application labs, validation tools, and testing facilities.
✅ Drive innovative approaches in vehicle testing and application engineering to improve quality and delivery.
✅ Software flashing and support for End-of-Line (EOL) benches.
✅ EV vehicle benchmarking and competitive analysis.
✅ Good knowledge of EV standards such as AIS, ISO, and ISO 26262.
✅ Experience in DVP, PVP, PPAP; exposure to PLI certification will be an added advantage.
✅ Telematics data analysis and FOTA validation.
✅ Support Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) objectives from the Application Engineering team.
