We are looking for an experienced Gearbox Application Engineer with 5+ years of experience in gearbox analysis, AMT, AT, and EV transmission applications.
Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering
5+ years of relevant experience in gearbox analysis and transmission application engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Application engineering of in-house and supplier AMT/AT/EV gearboxes across vehicle platforms.
Perform driveline design calculations, gearbox life calculations, and tolerance stack-up analysis.
Develop and validate AMT & EV actuators.
Packaging and 3D modeling of 6-speed, 9-speed, and 12-speed transmissions.
Perform AMT/AT/EV transmission calibration and optimize gear shift strategies for vehicle performance and drivability.
Analyze field failures and recommend design improvements, VA/VE initiatives, and engineering changes.
Support prototype builds, testing, validation, and design release activities.
Collaborate with Vehicle Integration, Testing, Manufacturing, Field Service, and suppliers.
