🔧 Role Overview
We are looking for an Engineer – PDC to support Electric Vehicle Powertrain & Battery testing activities, including test facility operations, validation, and troubleshooting. This role offers exposure to advanced EV systems including E-Motor, E-Axle, Inverter, and High Voltage Battery systems.
⚙️ Key Responsibilities
Perform testing & validation of EV powertrain systems (E-Motor, Inverter, E-Axle)
Conduct EV battery functional & durability testing
Support installation, commissioning & maintenance of EV test facilities
Plan and monitor test facility utilization & execution schedules
Perform troubleshooting and failure/root cause analysis
Work on test standards and validation procedures for EV systems
Handle test benches and test bed operations
Analyze test data using automation tools/software
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for test execution and issue resolution
🧠 Required Skills & Experience
Hands-on experience in EV Powertrain or Battery Testing
Knowledge of High Voltage Battery Systems & safety practices
Good understanding of CAN communication protocol (CANoe/CANalyzer preferred)
Experience in test bench / test facility operations & troubleshooting
Understanding of Electric Vehicle systems & Power Electronics
Exposure to test bed automation & data analysis tools
Knowledge of INCA / VISU (or similar engine/test software) – added advantage
Basic knowledge of MATLAB / Simulink preferred
🌟 Good to Have
Exposure to Battery Management Systems (BMS)
Experience with validation & certification testing
Basic Python / scripting for data analysis
Prior experience in engine or EV test beds
