We’re Hiring | Automotive SiL Validation Engineer – Electric Powertrain

Roles & Responsibilities
Ø Perform Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) validation for automotive electric powertrain systems and related vehicle functions.
Ø Analyze system requirements and develop comprehensive test specifications, test cases, and validation strategies.
Ø Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Python, MATLAB, and relevant validation tools.
Ø Conduct test execution, analyze results, prepare test reports, and ensure complete traceability of validation activities.
Ø Identify, log, track, and manage defects using tools such as JIRA, collaborating with development teams for issue resolution.
Ø Review and debug Simulink models, ensuring functional correctness and compliance with system requirements.
Ø Validate automotive communication protocols including CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, and FlexRay.
Ø Verify and validate key electric vehicle functions such as: Battery Management System (BMS), Energy Management System (EMS), Thermal Management System (TMS), Traction Management System, Charging Management System, Diagnostic Functions, Electronic Stability Programs (ESP)
Ø Work with automotive components including electric drive systems, transmission, batteries, inverters, chargers, and HV components.
Ø Develop and maintain continuous integration and test automation workflows using Jenkins, Git, and SVN.
Ø Utilize automotive validation and measurement tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, INCA, ECU-TEST, TestWeaver, Silver, and Provetech.
Ø Manage requirements traceability using DOORS, DNG, and PREEvision.
Ø Create and maintain project documentation, test reports, validation evidence, and knowledge repositories using Confluence.
Ø Collaborate with system engineers, software developers, and stakeholders to ensure successful validation of electric powertrain functionalities.
Ø Support root cause analysis and provide recommendations for functional improvements and quality enhancements.
