The studentship covers full tuition fees, the standard UKRI stipend, plus an additional £3,000 per year for four years. Funding is also available to fully support consumables, conference attendance and publication costs.
The working title of the project is Data-Driven Microgrid Control; however, we are flexible regarding the specific direction of the research, depending on the candidate’s interests and strengths in the area of renewable energy, power electronics, and power systems. The project can be tailored to be more simulation- and coding-focused, or more practical and experimental, depending on your interests.
