Sun Mobility is looking for Lead AI/ML Engineer – Battery Analytics | Bengaluru (Work from Office Only)
Looking for a self-driven engineer who takes full ownership; someone who defines the architecture, writes the code, runs the experiments, and drives the outcome.
What You Will Do:
→ Develop hybrid SOC/SOH estimation algorithms — physics-based + data-driven (EKF + LSTM,… etc)
→ Deploy quantized ML models on resource-constrained BMS embedded hardware
→ Own ML pipelines — training, validation, and staging; with cloud team support
→ Fleet-level analytics — anomaly detection, degradation trending, predictive maintenance
→ Own technical design docs, API architecture, and customer-facing SDK contributions
What We Need:
✅ B.Tech +7 YOE or M.Tech + 5 YOE
✅ Hands-on ML/DL — PyTorch / TensorFlow, time-series, regression
✅ Battery domain — SOC, SOH, ECM, Kalman filtering, LFP / NMC degradation
✅ Edge AI — TFLite / ONNX, quantization, MCU deployment
✅ Production Python; C/C++ a plus
What Sets You Apart:
⭐ Physics-informed or hybrid model experience
⭐ Publications, patents, or work on battery aging / RUL prediction
⭐ Prior experience shipping battery algorithms to production BMS and cloud
