π Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Engineer / Lead Engineer to work on Battery Disconnect Unit (BDU) and Flexible Printed Circuit Board (FPCB) design for advanced HV battery systems in xEV and SHEV platforms.
This role involves end-to-end ownership of E&E components, ensuring robust design, safety compliance, and seamless vehicle integration.
π§ Key Responsibilities
Define and develop BDU & FPCB requirements aligned with vehicle E&E architecture
Lead design and component sizing (contactors, fuses, sensors, busbars, pre-charge circuits)
Coordinate with suppliers for reviews and deliverables
Drive system integration across electrical, mechanical, and thermal teams
Execute DVP, validation, and CAN-based testing (CANoe / INCA)
Perform DFMEA, DFM, and risk analysis
Handle RCA and failure analysis
Manage documentation, ECNs, and validation reports
Support production and field issue resolution

Requirements
Bachelorβs / Masterβs in Electrical / Electronics / Power Electronics
5β10 years in EV battery systems / HV components

Strong knowledge of Lithium-ion batteries & xEV architecture
Experience in BDU, FPCB, HV system design
Exposure to CAN tools (CANoe, INCA)
Hands-on in DFMEA, DVP, validation
Familiarity with functional safety & automotive standards
Strong problem-solving & stakeholder management
