Ph.D. Position, Fall 2026] – Power Electronics and Control of Motor Drives

We have a fully funded Ph.D. position starting as early as Fall 2026 in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Tennessee Tech, USA to conduct research at the intersection of power electronics, electric machines, and controls.

Qualifications: Evidence of strong foundational and advanced level knowledge of power electronics and analysis and control of electric motor drives as demonstrated by undergraduate and graduate coursework. Publications and MS thesis preparation experience as well as industrial experience in this research area are advantageous. Laboratory hardware experience is desirable.
