Roles and Responsibilities
You will be part of the core Android team performing in-depth Android OS Kernel upgrades, Android OS domain validation, Sensor’s data validation, Connectivity/Multimedia (Audio/Video codecs) testing which will enhance your test skills beyond application level.
Desired Candidate Profile
MUST have skills:
Exp. of working on Qualcomm devices & hands-on with tools viz. QXDM, QPST, Adb, LogCat
Conduct testing on Android devices with Qualcomm chipset using QFIL flashing or other PCAT based tools.
Utilize Qualcomm related testing methodologies to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Should be well-versed in Android log taking procedures including logcat, bugreport, qxdm logs, etc.
Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Mantis, Buganizer, etc.
Knowledge of bug life cycle and experience in managing bugs through various stages.
Experience in multimedia testing is a plus.
Ability to conduct in-depth testing including sanity testing to ensure product quality.
Min. 2+yrs knowledge in
Android Mobile apps testing
Feature, System & Performance testing
Versatile with various Android versions and have worked on Android 10,11,12.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
GOOD to have skills:
Experienced in Android OS upgrade testing, FOTA
GMS Testing experience- CTS, STS, GTS, VTS, C-verifier etc.
Have worked on Axiom framework.
Basic knowledge of Python & Scripting
Have worked on Smart phones, Rugged devices, Trackers, Smartwatches, AndroidWear
