Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Chemical Engineer with expertise in heat exchanger monitoring and thermal design. In this role, you will utilize HTRI software to evaluate, simulate, and optimize the performance of heat transfer equipment across various oil and gas projects. Whether you are a mid-level engineer or a seasoned expert, your insights will directly impact operational efficiency and asset reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor, analyze, and optimize the performance of heat exchangers in oil and gas facilities.
Perform detailed thermal design, rating, and troubleshooting using HTRI.
Conduct fouling analysis, vibration checks, and performance degradation studies.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to support conceptual, FEED, and detailed engineering phases.
Provide technical recommendations for equipment modifications, cleaning schedules, or replacements.
Mentoring junior engineers (for senior-level applicants).
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
3 to 15 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry (refinery, petrochemical, or upstream).
Hands-on proficiency with HTRI software for heat exchanger design and rating is mandatory.
Strong understanding of heat transfer fundamentals, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
Familiarity with industry codes and standards (API, ASME, TEMA).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
