Electrical QC Supervisor – Pipeline Project

Job Summary
The Electrical QC Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all electrical quality control activities related to the pipeline and associated infrastructure works. The position ensures that electrical materials, installation, testing, and commissioning activities comply with approved IFC drawings, project specifications, ITPs, method statements, applicable IEC standards, Saudi regulations, and NEOM/client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Electrical Quality Control
Supervise day-to-day electrical QC inspection activities on the pipeline project.
Inspect electrical installations against approved IFC/shop drawings, specifications and approved method statements.
Ensure electrical works comply with approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
Pipeline electrical/utility crossings and associated facilities.
2. Material Inspection
Review electrical material submittals and approved material documents.
Conduct Material Receiving Inspection (MIR) for cables, panels, conduits, cable trays, earthing materials, electrical equipment and accessories.
Ensure damaged, incorrect or non-conforming materials are identified and properly segregated.

Polarity
Cable testing
Megger testing
Functional testing
Load testing
polarity, capacity/load and other electrical field tests.
4. RFI/WIR Management
Follow up inspection comments and ensure timely closure.
5. NCR & Quality Issues
Identify defective or non-conforming electrical works.
Raise NCRs, Site Observation Reports (SORs) and quality observations when required.

WIRs/RFIs
Test reports
Calibration certificates
Inspection reports
NCR/SOR records
Material certificates
Approved NEOM project specifications and quality requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Saudi Council of Engineers registration is preferred/required where applicable..
Experience
8–12 years of total experience in electrical construction and QA/QC.
Minimum 5 years of relevant Electrical QC experience on major infrastructure, utility, oil & gas, water or pipeline projects.
Previous experience in NEOM, Saudi mega-projects, SWCC, SEC or similar infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
