We are looking for a skilled SCADA Implementation Engineer to join our team for a landmark Solar, BESS, and Microgrid project in the Maldives.
Role: SCADA Implementation Engineer
Experience: 4 – 5 Years
Location: Maldives (On-site / Island Project)
Industry: Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) & Hybrid Microgrids
Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the end-to-end SCADA implementation, configuration, and commissioning for hybrid Solar + BESS microgrid systems.
* Integrate SCADA systems with PLCs, Microgrid Controllers, BESS Management Systems (BMS), and solar inverters.
* Develop dynamic HMI screens, trend visualizations, and alarm logging customized for microgrid management.
* Troubleshoot and configure industrial protocols (Modbus TCP/RTU, OPC UA, IEC 61850 / IEC 60870-5-104, DNP3).
* Collaborate with site installation teams, power utilities, and project management to ensure seamless commissioning.
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or Mechatronics Engineering.
* 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in SCADA configuration, testing, and commissioning (Solar, Microgrid, or Power Generation experience preferred).
* Strong technical understanding of BESS integration, power control systems, and industrial communication networks.
* Willingness to deploy on-site in the Maldives for project implementation.
