Position: Executive Engineer (2nd in Command)
Location: Hilton Garden Inn Goa Calangute, Goa
Job Summary:
Hilton Garden Inn Goa Calangute is seeking a dynamic and technically competent Executive Engineer to serve as the Second-in-Command of the Engineering Department. The ideal candidate will assist the Chief Engineer in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and compliance of all hotel engineering systems while leading the engineering team in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
– Support the Chief Engineer in the day-to-day management of the Engineering Department.
– Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, STP/WTP, Fire & Life Safety Systems, DG Sets, Kitchen & Laundry Equipment.
– Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, statutory regulations, and safety requirements.
Supervise engineering associates, contractors, and vendors.
– Monitor energy and water conservation initiatives.
Maintain engineering logs, statutory records, and maintenance documentation.
– Coordinate renovation projects and capital expenditure works.
– Handle emergency situations and ensure uninterrupted hotel operations.
Qualifications:
– Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
– Minimum 5-6 years of engineering experience in branded hotels, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
– Strong knowledge of hotel MEP systems, STP/WTP operations, HVAC, and Fire & Life Safety.
– Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
– Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to operational emergencies.
