A leading EV Powertrain Manufacturer is looking for an experienced Plant Head – Operations & Quality to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for Electric Motors, Motor Controllers, Inverters, and Power Electronics.
Key Responsibilities
Lead complete plant operations covering Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Planning, Stores, EHS, and Continuous Improvement.
Drive operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, OEE, and Poka-Yoke.
Ensure robust IATF 16949 & ISO 9001 quality systems, customer satisfaction, supplier quality, and successful customer audits.
Improve productivity, capacity utilization, cost efficiency, equipment reliability, and manufacturing quality.
Lead APQP, PPAP, NPI, process validation, and new product launches for EV Powertrain products.
Build a high-performance culture focused on safety, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent (MBA preferred).
15–20+ years of manufacturing leadership experience with at least 5 years as a Plant Head.
Strong experience in EV Powertrain, Electric Motors, Motor Controllers, Inverters, Power Electronics, Automotive Electronics, or Auto Components.
Hands-on expertise in high-volume manufacturing, automation, quality systems, and operational excellence.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive world-class manufacturing performance.
