We are looking for experienced professionals to join our team for a Lead – EV Battery Testing & Validation role.
📍 Location: Chennai
💼 Experience: 8–15 Years
🎓 Education: BE / B.Tech / Diploma
🚗 Preferred Industry: 4-Wheeler & Commercial Vehicle OEMs
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Lead battery module & pack-level testing (Electrical, Thermal, Mechanical, Environmental & Safety Validation)
✔ Define, execute, and sign off DVP & DFMEA activities
✔ Manage testing schedules, budgets, samples, and laboratory resources
✔ Coordinate testing using battery cyclers (AVL, Arbin, Bitrode, or equivalent)
✔ Drive Failure Analysis, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and 8D closure
✔ Prepare MIS dashboards and present validation status to stakeholders
✔ Support battery lab expansion, CAPEX planning, installation, and commissioning of new test rigs
Required Skills:
🔹 8–15 years of experience in EV Battery Testing, Validation, or EPT Hardware
🔹 Hands-on expertise in Battery Modules, Battery Packs, and High Voltage (HV) Systems
🔹 Strong knowledge of DVP, DFMEA, validation execution, and sign-off processes
🔹 Experience leading teams of 3–6 engineers/technicians
Good to Have:
✅ Test data automation & reporting
✅ Battery lab setup/expansion experience
✅ Knowledge of AIS, ISO, IEC & UN38.3 standards
