- Role Overview
We are seeking a Hardware Design Engineer with experience in power electronics product development. The role involves designing and validating power conversion circuits for AC-DC, DC-DC, and DC-AC applications, including battery charging and motor drive systems.
The candidate will be responsible for schematic design, component selection, PCB development, hardware validation, reliability analysis, and product verification activities. 3. - Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop power electronic hardware for AC-DC, DC-DC, and DC-AC conversion systems.
- Develop power architectures for battery chargers, power supplies, and motor drive applications.
- Perform component selection, derating analysis, thermal analysis, and reliability calculations.
- Design analog, digital, mixed-signal, and gate driver circuits.
- Prepare hardware schematics, BOMs, manufacturing documentation, and design reports.
- Develop and review PCB designs in collaboration with layout teams.
- Conduct design verification and product validation activities.
- Perform worst-case analysis and support qualification testing.
- Debug hardware issues during development, integration, and production stages.
- Validate designs using laboratory equipment and test setups.
- Support manufacturing, testing, and field validation activities.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety and isolation standards.
- Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Power Electronics.
- 5 8 years of experience in power electronics hardware design and development.
- Experience working on industrial power supplies, converters, battery chargers, UPS systems, or motor drives.
- Strong understanding of hardware validation and product development lifecycle.
